Dear friends and family,

We are so excited to share some special news with you . . . we are adopting!

God has placed adoption on both of our hearts for many years.  We feel so blessed to be a mama and daddy to our kids already and we can’t wait to open our hearts and home to love more children (Our daughter is also so excited- she tells everyone that adoption means “she gets to take care of babies.”  I think that’s a beautiful way to describe it!).  God has already been working on our hearts through this process and is really pressing on us what it means to love as He loves and what it means to be adopted to Him through Jesus Christ.  We are excited to see Him grow us even more as we continue along this journey.  But really, this journey isn’t that much about us . . .

This journey is about the child we adopt . . .

We would love for you to be a part of our adoption.  First, we would love a group of family and friends dedicated to praying for us through this journey.  We would also love for you to pray for our child, wherever he/ she may be.  More than likely, the child that will become part of our family is already in an orphanage somewhere and I pray that they are comforted with a comfort only Jesus can give them.

Second, we are fundraising to help provide for the financial cost of adoption.  We are working hard at cutting our household budget wherever we can, applying for grants and fundraising.  The total cost for the adoption will be about $30, 000.  This includes our home study, agency fees, government paperwork and background checks.  We also have to travel to the country once for about 10-14 days.  We would love for you to prayerfully consider making a financial gift to help us bring our child home.  We trust that God will provide for us to complete our adoption journey.  One way may be through our friends and family.  Here are a few ways you can financially support us through our adoption journey:
